Delete your SalamaLink account
This page is for SalamaLink users. You do not need the mobile app installed to use this form. We verify your account password before deleting anything. There is no fee or active-subscription requirement.
How to delete your account
- Read what will be deleted and retained below.
- Enter the email address or phone number and password you use for SalamaLink.
- Tick the confirmation box and press the deletion button. A confirmation appears here after successful processing.
Deleted immediately
Your profile name, email, phone number, password access, NIDA number, profile photo, saved profile location, push token, login sessions, verification codes, personal notifications, and unreviewed reports with their uploaded files are removed from the active system. Your account can no longer sign in. This cannot be undone.
Records retained for 365 days
Reviewed or official reports and their supporting files, and financial/payment and subscription records, are retained privately for dispute handling and abuse prevention for 365 days from account deletion. Related official posts are removed from public view. A non-identifying account placeholder links the retained records; it does not contain your former profile identifiers or usable credentials. Financial records may still include the payer phone number and transaction reference, and official reports may contain personal information submitted in those reports.
These retained records and their stored files are permanently purged after the retention period by the daily cleanup process. They are not kept indefinitely or used for advertising.
You can also start account deletion in the mobile app through Settings → Delete account. Staff accounts must contact the system administrator because their official responsibilities require review.
Any copies already downloaded or shared outside SalamaLink cannot be recalled by this form. If you cannot access your account, contact support@salamalink.co.tz to request assistance. Never send your password or OTP by email.
